Sydni's Birthday Party!

Sydni had a really fun Build-A-Bear Birthday party. We had a lady in our ward make her cake and it turned out fabulous! Syd invited two friends to come with her and I let Hailee stay home from school so that she could help.

What a fun day!
Our family has been really busy with life and church and other activities. Emily tried out for her school musical of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! She got the part of Jamie a
school girl. She has a speaking part and a solo singing part. She was really nervous to try out and we are really proud of her for trying. We will post more pictures when she performs.

Happy Birthday Blake and Sydni!

My baby is now 5!!!! I can't believe how time has flown by. I have really enjoyed having her home as my little buddy. I think I will go through withdrawls when she starts kindergarten next year. I always looked forward to this time but now I realize how fast it has gone and it makes me sad. Sydni was going to have a party with friends at Build-a-Bear but all three of my girls had strep throat and the flu. Needless to say, we have postponed her party for Feb.24th. I'll post pictures of the event then. Sydni's cake was leftover from our Young women's New Beginnings. It was the cake topper. Our theme was "Daughter of a Heavenly King" I was so glad to have it left over for Syd. She thought it was the greatest Princess Cake ever.

Syd really wanted Barbie Diamond Castle stuff. I don't think she realizes that the barbie has a nice "tan". It was the only barbie left.

These are the gifts that Syd picked out from the money that Grandma Wendee sent. She is our future rock star. I thought the pants were fabulous at first until I found feathers all over the house.

Blake is now 38! I can't believe how old we are getting. At least life is getting better with age.

I just thought you would want to see a picture of the girls at christmas time.

Hailee and her friend Maureen are in the Chandler Elementary School talent show on Feb. 26th. They are doing a dance and a cheer. Hailee is really nervous now that she made the tryouts. I am proud of her for trying. Good Luck Hailee!

After much anticipation and excitement, Emily got her top braces on! She was so glad to be like the rest of the kids her age. This was about a month ago and she now realizes that she has a long two year road ahead of her.

Sydni sleeps in her princess castle

Sydni got this princess tent last christmas. She has just re-discovered it and loves to have us put it over her every night to sleep. We are glad that she will sleep in her own bed finally. What ever works!

It's Christmas Time!

The reason for the season. I love my nativity. It is so fun to have our home decorated for the Holidays. I'm sure you all feel the same way. We are of course really looking forward to spending our Christmas with family and friends in Utah. We will see you all when we are there on Dec. 21st. Merry Christmas!

The stockings in the back ground were knitted by my awsome mom while she was on her mission. They are just like the stockings we had as children. It is fun to have them personalized.

Here is the tree. (And Syd of course!)

Emily plays the flute in her middle school band. The band here is HUGE! She is really good at it and it is fun to see and hear them play together.

We had to wrap Hailee's cast in bubble wrap so that she could play in her soccer tournament. Her team came in second place. They played a really hard team and lost 1-0. Despite the cast, Hailee was really aggressive and played well.

I took the girls to the Dallas Galaria mall over Thanksgiving break. We found these awsome massage chairs at Brookestone. I couldn't get the girls to get out!

The big green monster is gone! It is nice to have the cast off but she still can't straighten her arm out all the way.
